A Renewable Resource

(my humble apologies for anyone who got hurt because of wat i wrote...trust me i had no intentns of doing so..dis was supposed to be just plain humor but i kno i shud have been a bit more thoughtful.. a thousand apologies from the bottom of my heart..hope u like dis one :))

Its been just 2 months. And i feel Burdened and bored.Burdened not with work actually.Thanx to my ignorance and lack of education on the technology.. that i am being treated the way i am now.so what is actually the burden and boredom all about.

Well boredom is something that most homo-sapiens and yeah the more observant ones like me(common i am not blowing my trumpet today atleast) are prone to.we get used to our sorroundings and adapt so well in them that any new place seems more like a native place to us. (once a journey of 11 hours by bus took 27 hours due to traffic tht ultimately i was getting nostalgic when i finally reached my destination and felt as if i was born in the bus itself.well Charles darwin must have had me in mind when he wrote his theory of evolution.okay so coming back to the main topic befor i get diverted and forget wat i was actually talking about.....

i am bored of the perenially similar tasting coffee, same tea bags waali chai, same maggi soup,(nd now i have even shifted to drinking powdered milk..(okay..i know i am behaving voracious but i attribute this to my habit of being hungry all-time after spending 6 years in a hostel where people are perenially hunger-struck..:D)and that too in just a short span of two months.to tell u the truth...i dont like changes either..but seriously i wud prefer if my life ends in a more sumptuous and delicious way.

i currently belong to that breed of species who are better known as trainees. But i am sure soon my status will be updated and upgraded. So dis is just a passing phase.
what is this final semester training all about?a trainee belongs to that breed of graduates...

1) who is undergoing the burden of completion of her course so tht she cn attain her degree.
2) the completion of the course is only possible if she completes her final semester training more often named industrial training.

(you do get a look and a rather great feel of the industry that ur degree will get u into after u attain it).

this breed has many sub-categories further.

The first category states trainees are in respectable terms social workers.ahem ahem...conditions apply here...this definition is for those trainees who are well aware or atleast have a bit of knowledge of the technology they will be working on or rather doing social service on.like my frnd "NP" who unfortunately knew .net (like me).she has to work till 8 in the evening and that too for free(money cant buy everything but yeah this charity can get her a good certificate).can u just imagine. So for anybody of u out there thinking tht charity never paid off well!!! Brush away such thots.I guess trainees are the best and the cheapest resource any firm can get. kudos to NP.

The second category of this breed: the one who gets paid. You do the work.you get paid.more like a give and take situation.give every drop of your blood to the big vampire.

another category states gimme money and let me have fun.that is no work and still u get paid.that is the power of a really powerful contact and a real trainee. No work and more money can make jack feel like a king.

yet another category is that of a student-cum-trainee..pay the firm u r learning “the tenets of how industry works like” from.

and the final and the most interesting, dangerous and difficult to identify category (they are monsters in disguise..more like viruses who can eat up ur brain till it becomes empty (hahah) and still behave as if they r the most innocent ones on d face of the earth all ready steady to eat ur brain every day except wen u r lucky enough to have them on leave):

if u belong to this breed then u r likely to show the following charatersitics :
u neither know the technology you will be working on.U stay on the mercy of the people around who will sort of waste their precious time teaching u the technology ,answering ur dumb questions ,trying to enlighten u over the subjects and trying to make u feel better abt ur situation by saying ofetne “even we knew nothing like u wen we came here” probably thinking tht their saying so will make the matter better, everytime u face a problem u can always bug them wid ur probems and they are ready to lend a helping hand and u will find urslf lucky everytime to get ur problems solved wid d speed of light..but sometimes wen u face a problem..u will have a million thoughts attacking ur mind whether u shud disturb the busy bees or not.In d early days ur conscience will try to stop u from buzzing them again n again..but sooner u start avoiding the voice(actually the howling nd growling) of ur conscience and simply ignoring the noise it makes inside u wenever u r about to disturb them or in appropriate words try to remove the clouds of ignorance from ur brains. and thus u become so brazen to ping them wid ur problems on the ip messenger too...let them breathe man!!! they deserve their space too...(but they are the only straw to clutch in that huge world)

but despite all these bouts of embarrassments and jerks to self-esteem u become so shameless(yeah time makes u strong and practice evn more stronger) that u stop realizing that u might be pestering a poor employee who has a deadline to achieve and yet get constant motivation too by their polite demeanour (which is actually known as being modest in the bible of etiquettes and u take advantage of tht too) from ur preys.(i.e. the poor employees who are friendly enough to make u feel comfortable).

This category is weak at showing professionalism too.(common..get professional babe….even the toilette papers today call themselves professional..Kimberly Clark Professional). So that is kind of even more embarrassing.

well this category is the most dangerous too.as during team meeting this category has to respond about their work to the person higher in the hierarchy..who is actually kind enough to pay attention to u,take complte responsibility that this category does not waste time and learn something better and be a resource. And is really really keen on improving u and making u a more polished person than lettin u stay as indisciplined s u were in college.(yeah acept it u r indisciplined).

Any work-done is actually equivalent to almost a miniature sized work (that cud be very well completed in half d day for whch u take the whole day's time..and thus make ful utilisation of ur day indeed)that is even more embarrasing.so basically such a category is an absolute toddler in the industry which means that they are a liability. This category has a long way to go before they start acting professional, learn to control their ever-contagious laughters ,be serious(for which there is actually no need as somedody says its beter to stay as u r and enjoy work and life but trust me i think i need some discipline..hehehe..u dnt kno tht!!hehehe)and till the time they turn into a resource it will be time for good-byes and yeah thanx givings too.

but like every coin..dis one has two sides too. This phase of ur life will definitely teach u the tenets of how industry works, how a team works and will definitely teach u stuff tht wll be the frst step of the ladder u have to ultimately climb.Knowledge is a bonus too.And friends are an even more rewarding bonus.thanx to all who will make it possible and yeah thanx for tolerating such ignorance too.

In your journey of life sometime you will be student and sometime you will be teacher.Be sure what u need to be when and all will be ok :)

One more year and these ideas will not even exist in your mind. :)
