Although i am a virgo-libra cuspian, but somehow i feel more like a virgoan with really really really diminished libran qualities ingrained. And my this conception was more confirmed and got promoted to the position of a FACT after i read Linda Goodman's book on sun signs(the chapter on virgoan female).
maybe she wrote the chapter keeping me in mind..coz it defines me completely and yeah quite elaborately.{OMG...was she keeping an eye on me,how did she manage that??...are just some of the questions tht i hurl at myself everytime i read her book.}or maybe i relate myself more to virgoans becoz the chapter is full of praises about "Us"-by us i refer to all my zodiacal siblings...offense or no offense...it says we are the best of all....i love you Linda Goodman for saying tht !!!i dont care even if u call me boastful or a spoilt brat...but i do am fond of praises.Praises, esp when they are about me.But jokes apart...my room mates feel the same about me and my surprisingly similarity with Linda's virgoan female.
The book was nothing but yet another confirmation to the revelations i had been encountering about myself since quite a long time...but yeah now i can attribute a lot of my good and more importantly my bad traits(bad according to others coz i guess i am fond of myself) to my sun sign often saying...yeah "we are made like that" dragging all my dear members of the virgoan clan with me and imposing my bad traits on them too even if by mistake or due to their genetic formations they lack them...
and for the other community people...("the lesser privileged ones"..these would have been the words of the govt. if zodiac signs were a criteria for discrimination) read the book and maybe then u'll find something to be boastful about.
so any virgoan who feels that i am being unjust to them...blame it on Linda...but i would rather say...thanx a ton Linda!!!
but i guess...our dahlin old & veteran politicians (mind it...call them old & veteran with respect...coz even if they havent done much good to their fellow citizens...yet we cant deny the fact that have greyed their hair tryin to clean the s*** dat maybe (or i guess so) we all created(just cant blame evrything on them..so faor a change lets blame ourselves...so next time u see one...just bow ur head whether in reverance or in no-reverance for they are cleaning ,ahem...trying to clean the society that they...i mean we have made dirty..)haven't read her book or maybe have not given much thought tht luckily Linda has provided them with yet another means to collect votes...by providing a new means of discrimination.
In a country like INDIA which(to the world) stands as a synonym of mingling cultures and which exemplifies tolerance for other religions, communities, cultures and the consequences of no tolerance attitude....thank god sun signs are not the basis for distinguishing and dividing us- by "Us" i mean WE the proud Indians.picture this: if the politicians started creating reservations for the sun sign they liked the most that is obviously their own.Chapters would be included in school curriculum on stories about discrimination on the basis of sun sign along with the already existing long list (which has already divided our so called secular nation) including caste, creed, sex etc.riots would happen with people of one sun sign trying to kill people of the others....new borns taking birth under a sun sign would be killed by their parents who wanted a child of a particular sun sign.Laws would be added in the constitution to prohibit discrimination on this basis.
Thank God our some of our rowdy, craving for votes & powerful but really loser politicians are not reading this.

R's ordeal...
this happened sometime in october....
a friend of mine R was coming back from home after the durga puja.To save one complete day from being wasted she decided to travel at night...or in some minister's words was being adventurous[how can girls be so foolish when they know that they are the unsafe citizens of a country full of rapists and eveteasers and a-sometimes blind and a-sometimes helpless government and not-so-bothered-kinds fellow citizens].she took a ticket of silver line not to waste money but to avoid indecent crowd[another misconception, even the well-to-do can get desperate].
her second mistake, she sat beside a boy, oops a middle aged man whom u wud rather call "uncle ji" [what a fool again...didn't she know that some uncleji's and bhaiyyaji'a can turn into MONSTERJI'S,the catalyst being their lust].
whatever, she ensconced herself well on the seat and committed yet another mistake---fell off to sleep[didnt she know its punishable to get comfortable with ogling men around...and lemme tell u the punishers appointed for this crime are the monsterji's themselves,in fact, even the government is aware of the presence of such monsters and ergo forbades the travelling of women alone at night...even if they have their own vehicles].
soon she realised why the goverment wants to "protect" their women[this raises another question: what is the government's gender???].
soon some law enforcer monsterji decided to punish her rightly.she felt some tingling on her arm and then her breast.[that is why it is said....women should keep themselves covered....wear a salwar kurta and veil urself with a "ghoonghat"].
but our darling law enforcer was taken aback when R punched him back[so wat...shld the government give her some gallantry award....monsterji was'nt a criminal afterall].
now the monsterji tried acting smart behaving as if he was a poor little lamb caught unaware by a slaughterer,so scared and so naive....[OMG how cud R get so diabolical, how cruel!!].the poor, frazzeled fellow who tried feigning sleep.... in order to avoid any further trouble to the slender and weak fist of the young lady, ultimately showed his chivalry, sacrificed his comfort, moved to another seat, next to i guess nobody[poor him,she made him devoid of a company...didnt she know that all humans are basically gregarious, how rude].
R kept trembling with fear.[who the bloody hell had asked u to travel alone at night...MS.SUPERWOMAN.u rightly deserved this...after all every jungle has wolves...so tame a tiger to keep wolves at bay...u are not safe enough in ur own country, dont expect the already poor govt.to tame a tiger for u...do it at ur own expense].
R kept trembling.....fearing that if the monsterji turned revengeful followed her ,threw acid on her face, had a weapon....but luckily the poltroon monsterji disboarded the bus soon after the incident..R had a bout of courage...stepped out of the bus and smashed him again....[oops....maybe this was a well enacted show as the other passengers thought it to be and decided not to interrupt our darling show -stopper...the coup de grace was a sock in the jaw...but not to forget...hats off to such apathetic citizens....i mean the diciplined audience.]
luckily R returned safe....but saumya viswanathan DIDN'T.
such men are a blot on the face of the entire male community and such dumb audience is an even worse case.May all of us get the courage to stand for what is right and more importantly identify what is right.

about life
every incident that comes our way has something in store for us...though at that moment of time we may get depressed to see the events not going in our favour...or as we had wanted them to go...ask ourselves questions like 'what have i done to deserve this?' but as time passes and we retrospect...we realise that we learned something good from it...it happened to teach us what we lacked...what we didnt know or what we never bothered to care for.....thus helping us to achieve what we deserve...and perhaps without learning all those we wouldnt have been the deserving ones....and thus every passing incident adds a hue to our lives...whether dark or bright....but we do get tinged with the SPICED HUES OF EXPERIENCE!!
